Camera app
Working with camera sensors on a mobile device is one one side a challenge, because if you're not careful you can eat all the system's resources pretty quickly, and the performance will suck. OTOH you get direct access to the sensors.
Voice calling app
Making a calling app from scratch is surprisingly simple on Linux, so I intend to make one for myself.
